Deceased. Michael passed away on September 28, 2007
at 55 years old. Michael had been employed by Western
Publishing Co. for over 14 years. He was a former member
of the Instinctive Bowman. Michael loved the outdoors
and was an avid hunter and fisherman. |
Surviving are his daughters, Stacey (Louis)
Papas of St. Augustine, FL, and Kelly Zanis of Oak Creek,
WI; granddaughter, Kailey Papas and soon to be born grandson,
Ryder Papas; brother, Tom (Jacquie) Zanis; nephews, Lars
and Garret Peterson; fiancée, Vickie Haertel all
of Racine; Vickie’s son, Scott (Katie) Haertel of
Milwaukee; his uncle and aunt, Tony and Judy Zanis of
Racine. |

WI, 6 grandchildren: Haley & Carley Zirbel of AR,
Corra & Carter Zirbel of CO, & Gus & Maggie
Frost of WI. I enjoy sprint car racing & hunting. |

Deceased. Larry passed away in 1977 from depression
at 24 years old. Larry attended the Music Academy Of The
West in Santa Barbara, CA; where the school receives only
135 of the most exceptionally talented musicians from
around the world yearly. Larry graduated in 1977. Larry
played the viola.

I am married to my High School Sweethart Carrie Olsen
in 1974. (Also our classmate). We have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren.
We lived in Ohio since 1986. I am retired after 35 years
from UPS as a Technical support Manager. I am living in
Dublin Ohio. I am still a Badger and Packer fan. |

Deceased. Diana passed away unexpectedly at her Racine
home on May 2, 2016 at 62 years. She was born in Racine,
October 19, 1953, the 3rd of eight children of the late
Jesus and Margaret (Nee: Wensing) Zuniga. Diana attended
Gateway Technical College and graduated from Concordia
University with a B.S. in Nursing. She was employed at
St. Luke’s Hospital for 35 years and was looking
forward to her retirement in a couple of years. She was
passionate about caring for her patients. Diana enjoyed
fishing, traveling, and scrapbooking. |
Surviving are her son, Dennis of Seattle,
WA; her siblings, Jesse (Christine) Zuniga, Darlene Lucas,
Gregory (Kelley) Zuniga, Deborah Zuniga, David Zuniga,
Doreen Zuniga; niece and nephew, Devin and Justin Sykes
of Racine; other nieces, nephews out of state; and many
friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in
death by her brother, Dennis. |
