Tell Us About Yourself

Hello and Welcome Fellow Classmates!

This is the website for J. I Case High School in Racine, Wisconsin. It is primarily for the alumni of 1971 but I have found alumni from other graduating classes visiting here frequently.

What started out as information for our 40th class reunion in August of 2011 expanded into much more. Now we have a classmate roster, classmate photographs with info, reunion hotel information and a place to connect to other classmates on our Facebook link. As this website expanded even further, I created a sub-website for our C-Club (and a famous jersey page too!) I created pages to help locate our classmates, so we can visit them when we are traveling or vacationing.

So, I need your help. I need updated information about you. Are you retiring? Relocating? Traveling? I would like to post it here. Importantly, I need to locate our lost classmates. Where in the heck did they go? They couldn't have just vanished. Or could they? Please let me know. I need for you to share those valuable old photos sitting in your shoe box in the top of your closet. Please send your information to me at my email: webmaster@Case71.com.

This website has been a personal labor of love. Everything on this website was created by me. Much of this information I retrieved by diving into months of research. The obituary section has been an exigent and very sad task. A record our deceased classmates, a description of the life they led and what interested them makes their legacy and brings a dignified memorial to the world. I want to do this. To complete this, I need their most recent photograph. If they passed away longer than 4 years ago, I am unable to find any information about them. It seems that the internet only has recent information on this topic. I go to the library and I spend days, weeks and months looking through microfiche files of old Racine Journal Times pages until my squinty eyes are cross-eyed. I need your help. If you have any obituary information, I would be grateful to have you send it to me.

On a lighter note, it has been a lot of fun creating the nostalgic pages on this website. Sometimes the limited amount photos that I am able to find are so fantastic! Posting music, TV clips, photos of old landmarks that are now gone or have changed...what a joy!! I have gotten out of my chair to dance around the room from some of the best music that was ever made from the 50's, 60's and 70's. I hope you will have just as much fun visiting these pages as I have had creating them!

Even though the time and cost of creating and updating this website is made absolutely free, by me, there are very real costs of our website domain and hosting. I have given special attention to those individuals and businesses who have helped finance the cost of this website. If you would like to make a donation to help with this endeavor, it would be greatly appreciated. If you would like this website to feature your business advertising, these costs would not only help your business, but help our website.

Mark this website as one of your favorites and check back occasionally for changes. If there is something you would like to see featured on this website, please let me know. If it is something I am able to do, I will try to do it! Please stay in touch. Send me an email. If you do not receive a response from me for a little while, don't fret. You will not be forgotten. I may be away for some time- busy- but I will get back with you as soon as I can!!

Peace and love,
Geraldine Larson
